Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 18th that it will release 'The Glory' Part 2 on March 10.
The original series 'The Glory,' released on the 30th of last month, recorded a cumulative viewing time of 148 million hours on the Netflix Top 10 site, ranking in the Top 10 for three consecutive weeks. In its third week since release, it ranked first in eight countries including Korea, and was included in the Top 10 in 34 countries, gaining popularity.
'The Glory,' which deals with the theme of school violence, is a Netflix series depicting the story of a woman whose soul was shattered by violence in her childhood, who meticulously prepares a desperate revenge throughout her life, and those who get caught up in the whirlpool. The series stars actors Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, and Yum Hye-ran.
Writer Kim Eun-sook expressed confidence, saying, "If you watched Part 1, you won't be able to resist watching Part 2," and added, "The refreshing and spicy flavors are concentrated in Part 2." Director Ahn Gil-ho previewed, "In Part 2, the fight between Dong-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo) and Yeon-jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon) begins, and the story of the perpetrators being punished will unfold dynamically and irresistibly." He also added, "All plot points will be resolved."
