Public Work and Haengbokjigi Youth Project, Safety and Health Education Conducted
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will officially implement the public job project in the first half of this year, starting with the public work and Happy Keeper youth projects.
On the 16th, safety and health education for the public job project was conducted at the county office's main conference room for about 150 participants and staff involved in the public work and Happy Keeper youth projects in the first half of the year.
The education was conducted by a professional instructor from the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, covering the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, causes and prevention measures of safety accidents, precautions during work, and overall safety management.
Additionally, the county is recruiting participants for the general Happy Keeper project until the 31st, with 179 people across 42 workplaces. Applicants must bring their ID cards and apply at their local eup/myeon office.
A county official stated, “We hope for active participation from local residents in the public job project, which is implemented to provide stable livelihood support for socially vulnerable groups and revitalize the local economy,” adding, “Through safety and health education, we will strengthen the safety and health management system at each workplace to create a safe job environment.”
