Lundrigo Unveils 'AI Style Scanner,' an Automated Clothing Analysis System

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Uisikju Company (CEO Cho Sung-woo), which operates the contactless mobile laundry service 'Laundriego,' announced on the 18th that it has completed the development of the automatic clothing sorting system for incoming items called 'AI Style Scanner' and will apply it to its smart factories.

Uisikju Company has been directly building and operating smart factories since its establishment to efficiently operate Laundriego. To advance this, it acquired an American laundry company and is independently handling everything from smart factory design and equipment procurement to construction. Currently, smart factories are operating in Seoul's Deungchon-dong and Seongsu-dong, as well as Gunpo and Paju in Gyeonggi Province.

AI Style Scanner

To automate the entire incoming process, which takes the most time, Uisikju Company applied the 'AI Style Scanner,' developed over the past two years, to the Gunpo, Seongsu, and Gangseo smart factories. The AI Style Scanner automatically photographs and recognizes items such as dress shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, jackets, padding, and coats entering the smart factories using AI. Its accuracy continuously improves through machine learning, including repeated data training. Laundriego confirmed through testing that the introduction of the AI Style Scanner reduced the time required for incoming laundry items by more than 60%.
