On June 18, OB Beer announced that it has been selected as an 'Excellent Employer' for two consecutive years by the global human resources evaluation organization, the 'Top Employers Institute.'
The Top Employers Institute evaluates over 2,000 companies across 121 countries annually and announces the 'Excellent Employers.' OB Beer has been actively committed not only to employee welfare but also to developing employee capabilities while fostering a work environment that embraces individual diversity and inclusion. Through these efforts, OB Beer received high scores across all evaluation categories covering six areas and 20 items related to HR policies, corporate values, and talent acquisition, earning recognition for leading an advanced corporate culture by being selected as an 'Excellent Employer' for two consecutive years.
In particular, OB Beer's unique 'advanced corporate culture' was considered a key factor in its selection as an excellent company. Since 2017, OB Beer has implemented a 'flexible working hours system' that allows employees to decide their start and end times within the working hours. In November last year, it introduced the 'workplace autonomy system,' increasing flexibility in choosing work environments. The 'workplace autonomy system' is a flexible work arrangement that allows employees to work from any location where safe remote work is possible. OB Beer employees can autonomously choose their work location for a total of 25 days annually.
Baek Ha-jun, CEO of OB Beer, said, “We are pleased that OB Beer's advanced corporate culture, introduced to enhance employee growth, capability development, and satisfaction with the work environment, has shone through in being selected as an Excellent Employer.” He added, “We will continue to pursue steady HR innovation and strive to introduce corporate cultures and HR systems that benefit our employees.”
