Hyundai AutoEver, Hiring Entry-Level and Experienced Employees for Q1

Hyundai AutoEver, Hiring Entry-Level and Experienced Employees for Q1

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hyundai AutoEver announced on the 17th that it will begin recruiting new and experienced employees for the first quarter of 2023.

Hyundai AutoEver significantly increased its workforce in 2022 despite the employment downturn to create new value in the mobility ecosystem, including vehicle software (SW), enterprise IT, cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data. Last year, Hyundai AutoEver hired over 800 employees through open recruitment, internships, and coding competitions.

This year, Hyundai AutoEver plans to continue large-scale hiring to sustain its growth. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, digital transformation has accelerated across all businesses. In particular, as vehicles evolve into software-defined vehicles (SDV) and digital transformation progresses in all areas from automobile manufacturing to sales, Hyundai AutoEver's role is expanding. This is the reason for the steady large-scale recruitment since the merger.

This recruitment will cover various positions including ▲vehicle electronics and navigation SW ▲application development and operation ▲ERP ▲security ▲smart factory and MES ▲mobility and connected cars ▲technical planning and sales ▲finance, among others.

The recruitment process for new and experienced employees will be conducted simultaneously. Applications will be accepted from today until the 30th.

To focus on development job competencies, all new applicants applying for the SW development sector will be given the opportunity to take a coding test. All new applicants who submit applications in this field can participate in an online screening consisting of a personality test and a coding test. For sectors not subject to the coding test, interviews and task tests will be conducted.

Two rounds of interviews will follow. For the first interview, to foster a young and horizontal organizational culture, junior-level MZ generation employees who will work on the same team upon joining will be assigned as interviewers.

For experienced talent recruitment, after document screening, an online job competency test including a coding test or task test and a personality test will be conducted. Then, two rounds of interviews will be held entirely online, followed by compensation negotiations before joining.

An online recruitment briefing session will be held where applicants can consult with recruitment officers and current employees regarding this hiring. The briefing session is scheduled for the 26th, and related announcements can be found on the Hyundai AutoEver recruitment website.
