Gochang-gun Strengthens Emergency Medical System During Lunar New Year Holiday... Minimizing Inconvenience for Residents

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 17th that it will strengthen the emergency medical system with the cooperation of medical-related organizations such as the Gochang-gun Medical Association and the Pharmacists Association to minimize the inconvenience to residents caused by medical service gaps during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Gochang General Hospital, a regional emergency medical institution, operates a 24-hour emergency room, and Gochang-gun Public Health Center along with 10 local health clinics will operate normally according to the schedule during the four-day holiday period.

In addition, four medical institutions and six pharmacies that open on designated dates will be operated to maintain an emergency medical system during the holiday period, aiming to alleviate residents' inconvenience caused by medical treatment.

Gochang-gun Public Health Center has organized and operates an emergency medical situation room composed of doctors and administrative staff to enable prompt response to general patient treatment and mass patient occurrences, maintaining an emergency contact system with Jeollabuk-do and the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
