Hyundai Home Shopping will provide scholarships totaling 155 million KRW to 40 students from families with disabilities.

On the 17th, Hyundai Home Shopping announced that it held a 'H! Dodream Together' grant ceremony at its headquarters in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, attended by Hyundai Home Shopping President Lim Dae-gyu and Kim In-gyu, Chairman of the Korea Disabled Rehabilitation Association.

H! Dodream Together is a learning support program for people with disabilities operated by Hyundai Home Shopping and the Korea Disabled Rehabilitation Association since 2014. It provides scholarships to families with disabilities to support not only subjects they want to learn but also music, art, and other arts and physical education classes. It also operates academic consulting and mentoring programs for students from middle and high school families with disabilities who need assistance.

Hyundai Home Shopping, together with the Korea Disabled Rehabilitation Association, selects new beneficiaries among students from the first year of middle school to the third year of high school every year. It also supports existing students with learning expenses for up to six years if they faithfully follow their study plans. Through this program, Hyundai Home Shopping has supported a total of 416 students with cumulative learning expenses of 1.331 billion KRW up to this year.

Hyundai Home Shopping customers also participated in this scholarship delivery. With voluntary participation from customers who sympathized with the purpose of the scholarship project, donations of 5 million KRW were collected, and combined with Hyundai Home Shopping’s donation of 150 million KRW, a total of 155 million KRW in scholarships was delivered.

Lim Dae-gyu, President of Hyundai Home Shopping, said, "I hope this H! Dodream Together scholarship project, in which customers also participated, will be a valuable support to young people from families with disabilities." He added, "We will continue to lead ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management by steadily carrying out various social contribution activities, including scholarship projects for families with disabilities."
