[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit announced on the 17th that it will attend the 'World Economic Forum (Davos Forum)' held in Davos, Switzerland from the 16th to the 20th (local time).
Lunit stated that CEO Beomseok Seo will personally attend the Davos Forum, which is attended by more than 2,800 political and economic leaders including President Yoon Seok-yeol, heads of state from around the world, and global conglomerate leaders, to explain future healthcare innovation solutions utilizing AI.
At this forum, Lunit was officially invited as a 'Global Innovators Community' company, recognized among startups and growth companies worldwide for its advanced technology capable of leading the world. It is understood that about 10 Asian companies from small and medium-sized enterprises are attending this forum, and only two domestic companies, Lunit and Greenlabs, were invited.
This year's forum will feature global companies such as Google, Microsoft, and JP Morgan, as well as domestic conglomerates including Hyundai Motor, SK, GS, LG, and Hanwha, conducting various discussions under the theme of 'Cooperation in a Fragmented World.'
Beomseok Seo, CEO of Lunit, said, "We will seek ways to contribute to the changes in future medical systems and global public-private projects that the forum is currently promoting as urgent issues," adding, "We also plan to actively discuss collaboration methods for expanding AI healthcare services with stakeholders participating in the forum."
