[Weather] Mostly Cloudy Nationwide with Snow in Central Region from Night... Around 1cm in the Capital Area

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On Tuesday the 17th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with snow expected to fall mainly in the central regions starting from the night.


The expected snowfall is around 1 cm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, and the Chungcheong region (excluding the southern part of Chungnam), while Jeju Island will see less than 0.1 mm of rain.


As of 7 a.m. that day, temperatures in major areas are as follows: Seoul -6.8°C, Incheon -6.3°C, Suwon -6.1°C, Chuncheon -8.1°C, Gangneung -3.8°C, Cheongju -5.0°C, Daejeon -6.0°C, Jeonju -4.9°C, Gwangju -4.1°C, Jeju 3.6°C, Daegu -4.1°C, Busan -1.4°C, Ulsan -2.6°C, Changwon -2.8°C.


The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to range from -1 to 7°C, with Seoul expected to reach a high of 1°C.


Fine dust levels will be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.


Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
