The Next Generation Ranger underwent driving tests in various environments and harsh climates and terrains across 130 countries and 5 continents worldwide. It also incorporated diverse feedback obtained from interviews and surveys with over 5,000 customers.
This Next Generation Ranger will be released in two trims, Wildtrak and Raptor, featuring practical interior and exterior designs suited for various purposes. Both are equipped with a 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Wildtrak offers a fuel efficiency of 10.1 km/L, achieving a maximum output of 205 horsepower and a peak torque of 51.02 kg·m. It also includes upgraded convenience features such as a 3,500 kg towing capacity, clamp pockets, an enhanced bed liner, cargo management hooks, and zone lighting.
The interior, finished with premium soft-touch materials, features a large 12-inch vertical touchscreen located on the center stack, allowing the driver to intuitively access necessary information. Through Ford's signature SYNC4® system, various infotainment contents can also be enjoyed.
The Next Generation Ranger Wildtrak is scheduled for customer delivery in March, and the Raptor in the second quarter. Prices including VAT are 63.5 million KRW for the Wildtrak and 79.9 million KRW for the Raptor.
