The Rural Support Division will promote support for young farmers and return-to-farm settlers, while the Agricultural Technology Division will conduct pilot projects for the dissemination of new technologies in the fields of food crops, horticulture, specialty crops, and livestock.
Eligibility for application varies by project, so applicants should refer to the county office website or directly inquire at the Jangseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center.
Farmers wishing to apply for the projects can visit the Agricultural Technology Center by the 3rd of next month.
Based on the project plans submitted by the farms, the county will review feasibility, conduct on-site investigations of the planned project locations, and announce the selection results through the Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Deliberation Committee in the middle of next month.
An official from the county Agricultural Technology Center said, “This year's rural guidance pilot projects will focus on supporting the stable settlement of young farmers and returnees to farming, as well as expanding the base of smart agriculture,” adding, “We will also provide field-oriented farming technology support.”
