Mirae Asset Securities Launches Mobile App Enrollment for DC-Type Retirement Pension

[Asia Economy Reporter Son Sunhee] Mirae Asset Securities announced on the 16th that it will implement a mobile pre-enrollment service for defined contribution (DC) retirement pensions.

This service allows employees of companies that have signed DC retirement pension contracts with Mirae Asset Securities to directly apply for DC enrollment through a mobile application (app) when selecting Mirae Asset Securities as their retirement pension provider.

Through this, in addition to individual retirement pensions (IRP), new non-face-to-face enrollment for DC retirement pensions via mobile is fully available. Employees can enroll in DC retirement pensions through the app without visiting consultation booths or meeting staff in person. This is expected to be especially useful for employees working overseas or remotely who find it difficult to visit consultation booths.

Choi Jongjin, Head of the Pension Division at Mirae Asset Securities, said, "Mirae Asset Securities is promoting various service improvements to enhance the convenience of retirement pension subscribers," adding, "This also aligns with the government's policy goal of improving the rights and interests of financial consumers."
