Open at 10 AM Only on Seol Day
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gaya Theme Park and Nakdonggang Rail Park in Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, will operate normally during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The city announced on the 16th that these two representative local tourist facilities will be open without any holidays during the holiday for returning visitors and citizens.

They will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the holiday period, and will open at 10 a.m. only on Lunar New Year's Day.
The historic sites No. 73 and No. 74, Suro Royal Tomb and Suro Queen's Tomb, which operate year-round without holidays, are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the winter season.
Major museums and art galleries in the city will be closed only on Lunar New Year's Day.
These include the National Gimhae Museum, a leading museum specializing in Gaya history, as well as Gimhae Buncheong Ceramic Museum, Gimhae Waterworks Museum, Gimhae Wood Culture Experience Center, Daeseong-dong Ancient Tomb Museum, Jinyeong Station Railroad Museum, Clayarch Gimhae Museum of Art, and Gimhae Folk Museum.
The Awake Citizens Cultural Experience Exhibition Hall in Bongha Village and Jangyu Yulha Historic Park will also be closed only on Lunar New Year's Day, while Gimhae Observatory will operate without closure.
Main campgrounds such as Saengnim Auto Camping Site, Sineosan Natural Forest Camping Site, Observatory Auto Camping Site, and Gimhae Hanok Experience Center will be available throughout the holiday period.
Bunseongsan Ecological Forest Experience Center, Hwapo Wetland Ecological Learning Center, and Climate Change Promotion Experience Center will be closed throughout the holiday period.
The main tourist information centers and guides will be off on the 21st and 22nd.
Places closed on both the 21st and 22nd include ▲Bongha Village and Birthplace Tour ▲Gaya Theme Park’s Theme Park and Observatory Tour ▲Suro Royal Tomb and Hanok Experience Center Tour ▲Suro Queen's Tomb and Gujibong Tour ▲Bonghwangdong Site and Bonghwangdae-gil Tour.
Places closed only on the 22nd include ▲Gimhae City Comprehensive Tourist Information Center’s Gaya Street Tour ▲Jinyeong Station Railroad Museum and Jinyeong Tour.
On operating days, tour explanations and English, Chinese, Japanese, and sign language interpretation reservations are available, and English and Japanese interpretation at the tourist interpretation center opposite Suro Royal Tomb, operated by the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA), will be provided throughout the holiday period.
A city official said, “We have prepared Lunar New Year events at major tourist facilities operating during the holiday, so we hope many returning visitors and citizens will use them.”
