The number of new cases decreased by 4,945 compared to a week ago on the 9th (19,089 cases). This is the lowest figure in 91 days for Monday reports since October 17 last year (10,024 cases).
Among the new cases, 64 were imported cases, down by 40 from the previous day (104 cases).
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized increased by 11 to 510 compared to the previous day.
There were 35 new COVID-19 related deaths reported. The cumulative death toll stands at 32,989, with a fatality rate of 0.11%.
As of midnight, the additional vaccination rate for those aged 60 and over is 33.9%, and for infection-vulnerable facilities, it is 60.5%.
