Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 16th that it will hold the 'New Year Meet BBQ Mini Concert' in collaboration with the hip-hop and R&B music channel 'Dingo Freestyle' at the BBQ Village Songridan-gil branch in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 20th.
The concert is designed to target the MZ generation, who value unique experiences, aiming to expand offline touchpoints between consumers and the brand through the performance. Popular hip-hop artists and strong music chart performers in their 20s and 30s, rappers 'Heize' and 'Justhis', along with 'Implanted Kid', who recently gained attention from appearing on Show Me The Money Season 10, will participate together. The two leading figures in Korean reggae, Skull & Kunta, who released the song and music video 'Reggae Meets Jamaica' through a collaboration last November, will also attend to brighten the event.
Tickets can be applied for through a receipt verification event held on BBQ's official Instagram until the 18th. One hundred customers who ordered BBQ chicken this year will be invited by lottery. To enter, participants must verify their receipt via Instagram direct message and leave a comment saying 'Participation Complete' or 'Verification Complete' on the event post. Winners will be notified individually via text message on the 19th.
Attendees of the concert will be provided with a welcome drink. Additionally, as a special event, before the performance starts on the day, Skull, Kunta, and Implanted Kid will work as one-day staff at the store, taking orders and serving customers.
