Overseas Travel Demand Explodes... Hyundai Home Shopping Expands Broadcast Scheduling A travel product sales broadcast is being conducted on Hyundai Home Shopping.

Hyundai Home Shopping announced on the 16th that it will expand its travel product lineup as pent-up demand for overseas travel due to COVID-19 explodes.


Hyundai Home Shopping will increase the proportion of travel product broadcasts more than threefold compared to December last year. Following the Kyushu, Japan broadcast on the 14th, it plans to continuously introduce package travel products to Europe on the 22nd and Southeast Asia on the 28th.


Recovery in travel demand was detected from the end of last year. The number of reservations for the Da Nang, Vietnam package trip last month surged about twice compared to the previous month. Based on big data analysis of purchases, Hyundai Home Shopping proactively established a differentiated travel product strategy early this year to predict demand.


A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, “As travel demand increases, we will not simply increase the number of broadcasts but plan and organize products tailored to segmented customer demands. We also plan to expand marketing using YouTube content to communicate with customers familiar with new media,” adding, “We will continue to implement data-driven commerce strategies such as limited sales of premium travel products.”
