[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 16th that its workwear brand ‘Boldist’ will launch three new work shoes.
Boldist is expanding its work shoe lineup this year to strengthen its range of work and safety shoes. The number of styles has been diversified to allow workers to choose according to their work environment and preferences. The three newly introduced work shoes are Vault 401, Voyager 521, and Attacker 511.
The Vault 401 is a 4-inch version of Boldist’s work shoe ‘Vault’ series. It was developed in response to workers’ requests for safety shoes with lower ankle height, in addition to the previously released 5-6 inch versions. It features an ergonomic pattern design with a 4-inch height that allows free and comfortable ankle movement without any ankle restriction.
The Voyager 521 is an all-around work shoe with a trendy design that emphasizes comfort, suitable for simple work environments and outdoor activities. The toe area is treated with hot melt adhesive to protect toes that are frequently exposed to friction and impact. Additionally, a single layer of high-density ultra-strong bulletproof yarn material is applied as a standard specification to minimize sole punctures. The Attacker 511 is a safety shoe made with Cordura fabric, combining durability, breathability, and water resistance. It uses high-performance double mesh fabric that excels in moisture absorption and quick drying, with excellent cushioning to maintain comfort even during long hours of wear.
To celebrate the launch of the new work shoes, Kolon Mall, the official online store, is holding a ‘My Work Shoe Story’ event. By writing episodes related to work shoes in the comments, 10 winners will be selected by lottery to receive the new work shoes.
A Kolon FnC official stated, "Starting with the launch of these three models, we plan to introduce additional new work shoes in the second half of the year," adding, "We aim to establish a solid position in the safety and work shoe market by offering a differentiated work shoe lineup."
