Korea Social Investment Recruiting 1st Generation ESG University Student Supporters... Until the 12th of Next Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Social Investment is recruiting university students to participate in the 'Korea Social Investment ESG University Student Supporters 1st Generation' until the 12th of next month.


The recruitment target is 12 university students currently enrolled or on leave residing in Korea, who are interested in ESG startup founding, investment and accelerating, ESG-linked social contribution, and CSR activities.


Applicants must be capable of content creation and actively engaged in SNS activities such as blogs, Instagram, and YouTube, and be able to participate in supporter competency training and networking days held once every two months.


Selected student supporters will have the opportunity to interview startup CEOs or experts invested in by Korea Social Investment, as well as corporate social contribution and CSR managers. They can also gain practical experience by participating in startup seminars, demo days, and other events.


Those selected for the 1st generation supporters will receive a supporter appointment certificate, goods, and a participation certificate. A small support fund and filming equipment necessary for coverage will be provided. They will also receive education on ESG, interview reporting methodologies, design, and branding from instructors including promotional marketers, content experts, and active journalists.


Supporters who participate in more than 80% of activities will be awarded 10 hours of volunteer time and a certificate of completion. One top individual and one top team will receive awards and additional points during hiring.


Korea Social Investment specializes in ESG investment fund management, global accelerating, and ESG strategy consulting. It has partnered with companies for several years to conduct social contribution and CSR projects related to startup nurturing and investment. Major partners include Seoul City, Kyobo Life Insurance, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, Hana Financial Group, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and National Health Insurance Service.
