[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Lee Won-deok, President of Woori Bank, emphasized to the department heads under his supervision that "communication and leadership capabilities are important."

According to Woori Bank on the 15th, President Lee said at the leadership training for promoted department heads, "Core values of the bank such as customers and trust must be fully understood and practiced by the department heads in order to be conveyed to the employees."

Woori Bank conducted leadership training for about 100 department heads who were promoted in the second half of the year at the Woori Bank Anseong Training Center from the 9th to the 13th.

Woori Bank holds training sessions every semester to strengthen core competencies such as leadership and communication skills necessary for employees promoted to department heads. In particular, this training focused on key topics including leading by example, open-mindedness, communication, branch operation, and decision-making skills, which were identified by employees as the top essential capabilities for department heads.
