Anderson Torres, former Minister of Justice, was arrested on charges of involvement in the presidential election rejection riots that occurred in Brazil.
According to major foreign media on the 14th, Torres was apprehended at Brasilia Airport immediately after returning to Brazil from the United States.
Earlier, the Supreme Court issued an arrest warrant for Torres on charges of condoning the riots and failing to respond appropriately.
On the 10th, Brazilian police conducted a search of Torres' residence and secured a draft decree suspected to be related to a coup plan.
