Gokseong-gun Implements First Organizational Restructuring of the 8th Elected Administration

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced on the 13th that it has completed the first organizational restructuring of the 8th local government term for a "Gokseong where residents are happier."

According to the county, the existing organization of 2 offices, 11 departments, 2 direct agencies, and 1 business office was reorganized into 1 division chief, 2 offices, 12 departments, 2 direct agencies, and 1 business office. This organizational restructuring focused on responding to local extinction, collaborative work, environment, and livestock.

The county established the Happiness Policy Officer to strengthen collaborative work and comprehensively oversee core projects. The Happiness Policy Team, Collaboration General Team, Tourism and Cultural Foundation TF Team, Smart Farm TF Team, and Hometown Love Donation TF Team were organized.

The Planning Office newly established the Local Extinction Response Team and Resident Growth Support Team to overcome the local extinction crisis and swiftly respond to the future. The Environment and Livestock Department was split into the Environment Department and Distribution Livestock Department to strengthen detailed functions and accelerate the implementation of pledges.

The Population Policy Department newly established the Customized Care Team and Residential Support Team. In addition, to build a one-stop administrative system for population policy, the Population Policy Team, Regional Community Team, and Hope Welfare Team were organized together. The Civil Affairs Office integrated OK Civil Affairs Teams 2 and 3 into the Permit Civil Affairs Team for more intuitive understanding by residents.

Governor Lee Sang-cheol of Gokseong said, "This organizational restructuring is to efficiently promote the pledges and key projects of the 8th local government term. By establishing a detailed organizational system, we will establish the policy direction of Gokseong-gun and create a happier Gokseong for residents."
