Ubivelox Launches 'U Planner' Service for MyData Business

Rational Spending Possible Through Income and Expense Analysis
Joint Management Feature Added for Couples and Partners

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Ubivelox announced on the 13th that it has changed the service name from ‘Acha’ to ‘U Planner’ for its MyData business. In addition to the existing fixed expenditure management service, a household account book that automatically manages income and expenses and a joint management service that shares and manages income and expense information have also been newly launched.

The company explained, “The biggest change in ‘U Planner’ is the addition of a household account book function that automatically analyzes financial transaction details collected through MyData and clearly displays income and expenses divided by date, category, and payment method,” adding, “Considering the spending management tendencies of the MZ generation, we applied a joint household account book management function that allows two people, such as couples or lovers, to share and manage income and expense information together.”

The household account book function categorizes users’ expense details into regular expenses, variable expenses, and installment expenses. Regular expenses include loan interest, insurance premiums, and living subscription fees, which users can easily check all at once according to their planned expenditure items. For variable expenses, if users set a budget, the service maximizes convenience by allowing intuitive recognition of spending trends and expenditure status compared to the budget. Installment expenses are separately marked to help consumers manage household spending in a planned manner.

The new ‘U Planner’ features a user-friendly interface and functions based on consumption analysis from account expenditures and card usage details. It shows regular spending places, main usage areas, and expected spending dates. It is designed to help users pay attention to expenditure management by displaying scheduled financial events.

A U Planner official said, “In the future, we plan to expand customer-centric services that enhance customer experience through continuous business partnerships with non-financial sectors and fintech operators in areas such as asset management, retirement management, and health management,” adding, “We plan to add useful information such as a custom function to edit financial schedules, overdue information notifications, consumption detail analysis, free credit score checks, card benefit information, financial product recommendations, year-end tax settlement tips, and tax-saving methods.”

The ‘U Planner’ joint management asset sharing event will run from January 16. Those who sign up for U Planner and share at least one asset will receive a convenience store coupon worth 5,000 won, given to 1,500 couples (3,000 people). Detailed information about the event can be found on the Ubivelox ‘U Planner’ website.
