'Van Gogh, Letters of the Soul' Exhibition

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The Gyeongnam Miryang Culture and Tourism Foundation will hold a special exhibition, , at the Miryang Arirang Art Center exhibition hall until February 5.

Prepared especially for the New Year, this exhibition introduces representative works of 'Vincent van Gogh,' who vividly captured his intense artistic anguish on canvas, in various forms such as replicas (high-quality reproductions), videos, and immersive media art.

Notably, the exhibition applies immersive realistic media exhibition techniques. The 25-minute large screen video, digitally reproducing beautiful masterpiece images, is accompanied by music including Don McLean’s song 'Vincent,' creating a new emotional experience and deep resonance as if visitors are strolling through Vincent van Gogh’s unique artistic world.

Additionally, the exhibition displays quotes filled with van Gogh’s turbulent life and profound artistic anguish alongside his paintings. Through excerpts from letters exchanged with his brother Theo, his soul companion, from the age of 15 throughout his life, visitors can vividly encounter van Gogh’s human struggles and the weight of life.
