[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Ko Jin, Chairperson of the Presidential Commission on the Digital Platform Government, met with Kim Sang-hwan, Director of the Court Administration Office, on the afternoon of the 12th.
Chairperson Ko first explained the current status and promotion goals of the Digital Platform Government, a core national agenda of the current administration, and discussed cooperation measures to enhance convenience for citizens and businesses. Director Kim Sang-hwan also agreed with the values of the Digital Platform Government and decided to actively consider ways the Court Administration Office can cooperate.
Chairperson Ko said, "This meeting is meaningful as it opened the communication channel to reduce the barriers that have existed between the judiciary and the executive branch," adding, "Our commission will faithfully serve as a bridge whenever communication is needed between the Court Administration Office and various executive departments."
Meanwhile, for the first time, a mid-level official from the judiciary was dispatched to the Digital Platform Government Promotion Team under the Presidential Commission.
