In this event, Damyang-gun Mayor Lee Byeongno visited the Senior Welfare Town, which operates the senior welfare center, nursing home, and home care senior welfare center, along with local volunteers, and served freshly prepared jajangmyeon and dumplings on site.
He then checked on the well-being of the elderly, exchanged kind words, and promised to realize the Damyang-style welfare model "Hyangchon Welfare" for a comfortable old age.
Mayor Lee Byeongno said, "It was a meaningful time to listen to the voices of the elderly and check on their well-being while personally serving warm food," adding, "I am grateful to the Hyosarang Volunteer Group for spreading warmth in the community through various volunteer activities, and we will actively support their activities to ensure no difficulties arise in the future."
