Shinsegae L&B Launches 'Matsui Kurayoshi Pure Malt' Rabbit Edition

Shinsegae L&B announced on the 12th that it will sell the special edition "Matsui Kurayoshi Pure Malt Rabbit Label" at Wine & More and E-Mart to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit 2023.

The "Matsui Kurayoshi Pure Malt Rabbit Label," produced by the renowned Japanese brewery Matsui Shuzo, is a pure malt whiskey blended from malt distillates of various distilleries. It features a well-balanced combination of bitterness, sweetness, and acidity, with flavors of raisins, nuts, and vanilla spread.

To mark the Year of the Rabbit, Shinsegae L&B added a white rabbit symbolizing "growth and leap" to the product label and enhanced its luxury by making the label from fabric instead of paper. The product has an alcohol content of 43%, and the price is 139,000 KRW per 700ml bottle.

A Shinsegae L&B representative said, "Considering the recent growing interest in whiskey among the younger generation, we have launched this special edition using whiskey," adding, "We hope everyone starts the Year of the Rabbit energetically with Matsui Whiskey, renowned for its pure water from Tottori Prefecture."
