[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] On Thursday the 12th, there will be occasional clouds nationwide, becoming gradually overcast with rain starting in the afternoon.
The rain will begin in Jeju Island and the Jeonnam region in the afternoon and expand nationwide by night, except for the Yeongdong area of Gangwon Province.
Expected precipitation amounts are 30-80mm near Jeju Island (excluding the northern coast), the eastern southern coast of Jeonnam, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and around Jirisan; 20-60mm in the Jeonnam region (excluding the eastern southern coast and Jirisan area), the Gyeongnam region (excluding the southern coast and Jirisan area), and the northern coast of Jeju; and 5-40mm in the central region, Jeonbuk, Gyeongbuk region, and the five islands in the West Sea.
Morning low temperatures will range from -5 to 5 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be 9 to 17 degrees Celsius, higher than the average for this time of year.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area and 'Good' to 'Moderate' in other regions.
However, the Chungcheong region and Jeonbuk will temporarily experience 'Bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
