[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] On the 11th, the Busan Broadcasting Video Forum signed a business agreement with Twokon Co., Ltd. at the Hyundai Knowledge Industry Center in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, to promote value growth in the global mobile platform industry.


Through this agreement, the two organizations will mutually cooperate on ▲ revitalizing the global mobile platform and broadcasting video industry ▲ research for the development of broadcasting video content production and ICT technology fields ▲ industry-academia exchange and student internship collaboration ▲ support for promotional programs to activate participation of domestic and foreign mobile, broadcasting, and telecommunications ▲ joint programs to promote Twokon App and key projects of the Busan Broadcasting Video Forum.


Kim Chi-yong, chairman of the Busan Broadcasting Video Forum, said, “We expect that the Busan Broadcasting Video Forum sharing the Twokon App Platform communication service with Korea and various countries around the world will serve as a foothold for global expansion.”


Lee Yong-min, CEO of Twokon, said, “Through the Twokon communication platform, we will help outstanding students from the Busan area advance to various countries worldwide and strive to promote the excellence of Korean video content.”


Twokon provides the Twokon App Platform communication service in six countries including Korea, the United States, Canada, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.


The Busan Broadcasting Video Forum was launched in 2003 with the purpose of industry-academia-government network activities for the development of the video culture industry in the Busan area.


The forum, centered on about 120 experts from academia, industry, and institutions, establishes plans and policies for the development of the video industry and conducts citizen participation program contests and the Busan Citizen Video Festival to encourage citizens' participation in broadcasting.
