Dong-Eui Science University, 2nd National Junior College LiFE Project Student Contest Awards Ceremony At the awards ceremony of the "2nd National Junior College LiFE Project Current Student Contest" held on December 28 last year, the winners are taking a group commemorative photo with President Kim Young-do.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Future Lifelong Education Project Group of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) held the award ceremony for the 2nd National Junior College Lifelong Education System Support Project (LiFE) Student Contest on December 28 last year.


This competition, organized by the National Junior College Education LiFE Project Group Council, was prepared to discover excellent cases of the LiFE project and to expand the sharing of achievements. It featured written or video content capturing LiFE students' college life, educational environment, participation in various programs, and success stories.


The contest, held for students from seven junior colleges nationwide selected for LiFE, finalized 28 winning entries through judging by external experts. Winners received plaques and prizes. The awards were presented individually at the participating colleges.


Among them, Kim Jae-gi and nine others from the Health Convergence Welfare Department of the Future Convergence Division at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology won the gold prize with a warm reflection on college life under the theme "Our Stories."


Additionally, Park Yeon-gyeom from the Health Convergence Welfare Department received the silver prize with the theme "Change and Choice," Kim Sang-myeon from the Real Estate Sharing Business Department won the bronze prize with the theme "Travel Path," and Jang Young-hwan from the Social Welfare Care Service Department received the encouragement prize with the theme "Successful Employment Story of Middle-aged Flower." Three other teams, seven in total, were awarded.


Kim Tae-kyung, head of the Future Lifelong Education Project Group, said, "The excellent results in this contest were supported by the passion for capacity development held by various adult learners, including enrolled students," adding, "We will continue to strive to spread the lifelong learning culture among working adults and adult learners, including local residents."


Dong-Eui Institute of Technology is the only junior college in the Busan area selected for LiFE for four consecutive years and consists of the Brewing and Fermentation Department, Real Estate Sharing Business Department, Social Welfare Care Service Department, and Health Convergence Welfare Department within the Future Convergence Division.
