TaylorMade unveils 'Stealth 2'... Enhancing Distance and Forgiveness

Face weight is only 24g... Also has a wide maximum repulsion zone

TaylorMade has unveiled its next-generation Carbonwoods.

On the 11th, TaylorMade held the ‘Carbonwood 2023 Launch Show’ at Gabitseom in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, revealing the Stealth 2 (photo) lineup.

The slogan for Stealth 2 is ‘More Carbon, More Energy.’ By applying the latest technology, it has further enhanced distance and forgiveness. The drivers include Stealth 2, Stealth 2 Plus, and Stealth 2 HD, three models in total. Additionally, a Stealth 2 HD women’s model was added.

The original 60-layer carbon twist face is the core feature. It adopts a new design ICT (Inverted Cone Technology) to optimize energy transfer with faster ball speed. ICT is a technology that makes the center thicker and gradually thinner toward the edges. The face weighs only 24g, expanding the maximum rebound area.

It is also notable for using the most carbon in TaylorMade’s history. This creates surplus weight. The moment of inertia (MOI) is increased, and the optimal center of gravity is positioned. TaylorMade’s Inertia Generator maximizes forgiveness. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket™ is adopted to maximize ball speed. Also, the combination of curvature, shape, and thickness of the carbon panel produces a bright and intense impact sound preferred by golfers.

Im Heon-yeong, head of the Korean branch, said, "I remember last year when we launched the carbon face driver Stealth, showcasing TaylorMade’s advanced technology," adding, "I am pleased to raise the standard of golf clubs with the advanced Carbonwood Stealth 2 one year later."

To celebrate the launch of Stealth 2, TaylorMade will hold a Naver Live Commerce event at 8 p.m. that day. The first 300 pre-orders (100 per category) will receive a My Stealth headcover as a gift on a first-come, first-served basis.
