[Asia Economy Reporter Byeon Seon-jin] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 11th at midnight that 54,343 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 29,654,090.
The number of new cases decreased by 5,698 compared to the previous day (60,041). Compared to a week ago on the 4th (78,554), it decreased by 24,211. There were 76 new COVID-19 related deaths. The cumulative death toll is 32,745, with a fatality rate of 0.11%.
As of midnight, the additional winter vaccination rate is 32.9% for those aged 60 and over, and 57.9% for infection-vulnerable facilities.
