Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 11th that it has integrated KakaoPay's subscription payment service into its platform.
KakaoPay subscription payments can be easily made not only with credit and debit cards but also with KakaoPay Money, a prepaid electronic payment method that can be charged and used like cash.
Online businesses can use the subscription payment service with a simple setup after applying for and receiving approval to use KakaoPay. Detailed items such as the products to which subscription payments are applied and the payment intervals can be freely configured in the Cafe24 admin page.
Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24, said, "With the introduction of the subscription payment service, we expect an environment where online businesses securing stable sales can continue innovative and challenging attempts to create new business opportunities," adding, "We will continue to connect and introduce various services on the platform to help online businesses grow rapidly and establish themselves early in the market."
