Lotte Mart Officially Begins Selling Seollal Gift Sets

Lotte Mart announced on the 11th that it will conduct the main sales of Lunar New Year gift sets at all branches from the 12th to the 22nd.

During the pre-order period for Lunar New Year gift sets, which started on the 1st of last month, Lotte Mart expanded the product lineup by more than 10% considering various demands. Additionally, as more customers prepared their Lunar New Year gifts in advance, pre-order sales increased by 25% compared to last year’s Lunar New Year. With the pre-order period ending on this day, Lotte Mart will begin the main sales of Lunar New Year gift sets from the 12th.

Demand for premium products, which has increased since last year, continues this year as well, leading to about a 10% increase in the quantity of premium gift sets compared to last Chuseok. Analyzing sales during the pre-order period for Lotte Mart’s Lunar New Year gift sets, sales of gift sets priced over 100,000 KRW increased by 10% compared to last year’s Lunar New Year.

As a representative premium product, Lotte Mart offers the ‘Marble Nine Hanwoo Sirloin Mixed Set No. 1,’ composed of its high-end Hanwoo brand ‘Marble Nine,’ at an L.Point member price of 499,000 KRW. This set consists of a total of six pieces: two Marble Nine Hanwoo sirloin, two 500g strip loins, and two 500g soup cuts.

Cost-effective gift sets are also prepared, such as the ‘Price-Stabilized Hanwoo Planning Set’ under 100,000 KRW and fruit gift sets priced in the 20,000 to 30,000 KRW range. Representative products include the ‘Hanwoo Rib Set No. 2’ and ‘Hanwoo Meat Set No. 2,’ offered at an L.Point member price of 99,000 KRW. ‘Cleanly Washed GAP Apples’ and ‘Jeonju Hanokto Pears’ are sold at L.Point member prices of 29,900 KRW and 35,900 KRW, respectively.

As the number of customers looking for gift sets for ‘Honsuljok’ (those spending Chuseok alone) increases, Lotte Mart has expanded its representative snack gift sets of ‘Gim’ (seaweed) and ‘Yukpo’ (beef jerky).
