According to Nam-gu on the 10th, in the area of stabilizing residents' lives, 24 detailed projects will be promoted, including prevention of various disasters and safety accidents, traffic measures, support for marginalized neighbors, stable supply of fuel energy, maintenance of a pleasant environment, establishment of public service discipline, and establishment of an emergency medical system.
In particular, to respond to water shortages caused by drought, water pressure adjustment will be encouraged only for hopeful households among 65,652 households in 221 apartment complexes within the district, and water pressure will also be adjusted in local senior centers to conserve water.
Along with this, to respond promptly to disasters such as heavy snow and cold waves, a 24-hour disaster situation management system will be maintained, and emergency duty will be carried out according to weather alerts.
Furthermore, customized care and meal delivery services will be provided to neighbors in need of care, such as the elderly and disabled, to ensure they do not skip meals, and substitute meals will be provided to vulnerable children during group meal breaks or they will be able to have meals at convenience stores and nearby restaurants.
In the COVID-19 quarantine system sector, five projects including special quarantine and operation of screening clinics targeting multi-use facilities such as traditional markets will be promoted.
By the 24th, 33 locations including traditional markets, large stores, and door-to-door sales businesses in the district will be inspected for compliance with quarantine rules, and screening clinics will operate during the holiday period as well.
In addition, in the price stabilization sector, six detailed projects will be carried out, including establishing a sound distribution order, revitalizing the use of traditional markets, and preventing wage arrears.
Guidance and crackdowns on price labeling systems and unfair trade practices will continue until the end of the holiday, and thorough guidance and supervision are underway at each construction site to prevent wage arrears so that workers can spend the Lunar New Year holiday comfortably.
