Krafton Opens Recruitment for 2nd Cohort of Talent Development Program 'Krafton Jungle'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Krafton announced on the 10th that it is recruiting participants for the 2nd cohort of its digital talent development program, 'Krafton Jungle.' Krafton Jungle is a program that selects and nurtures applicants who wish to transition their careers to software development.


The recruitment period for the 2nd cohort is from the 10th to the 31st of this month. Eligible applicants are young people aged between 22 and 32, and up to 60 participants will be selected. Applications are open regardless of major or occupation. The selection process consists of ▲document screening ▲entrance exam ▲interview. Pre-study materials to prepare for the entrance exam will also be provided separately.

The training period lasts five months, from April to August. As with the 1st cohort, the program will be conducted in a residential format at Seoul National University Siheung Campus. The curriculum includes subjects highly applicable in the field such as ▲data structures ▲algorithms ▲web servers ▲operating systems (OS), along with development projects linked to mentoring from partner companies. All courses are conducted as team projects rather than lectures.


Krafton Jungle officially began operations with the enrollment of the 1st cohort in October last year. The final presentation for the 1st cohort will be held in March. Twelve partner companies will participate to review the hiring of graduates. Going forward, Krafton plans to gradually increase the number of trainees to expand the program to 1,000 participants annually.
