F&F announced on the 10th that it has established 'F&F Entertainment' and is embarking on nurturing global K-pop stars.

F&F Entertainment is a subsidiary of F&F and recently began its activities. Its first project is preparing a large-scale global audition. This is a K-pop girl group selection project that receives outstanding applicants from around the world who dream of becoming K-pop stars and selects the final debut group through public voting. The audition will be broadcast on terrestrial television in the second half of this year.

Choi Jae-woo, a planning-type producer, lyricist, and music content investment and distribution expert, has been appointed as the head of F&F Entertainment. Over the past 12 years, CEO Choi worked at Kakao Entertainment, managing investment and distribution of various global music content such as broadcast soundtracks and drama OSTs. He planned and produced OSTs for Hallyu dramas like My Love from the Star, Secret Garden, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, as well as various project albums.

F&F plans to combine the global branding capabilities it has built in the fashion industry with the K-pop industry to nurture artists with high publicity value.

An F&F official said, “With the know-how of creating brand fandoms that span the world, we will nurture K-pop stars who can grow into global leaders.”
