Namdaemun Police Station announced on the 9th that Woori Bank employee A was found dead in the basement of Woori Bank's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. According to the police, A sent a text message to family members hinting at an extreme choice, leading the family to report and track A's location. A was found in a car through mobile phone location tracking and a search, and items presumed to be used for the extreme choice were found in the car at the time.

A police official said, "We are currently investigating the cause of A's death," and added, "If it is confirmed to be an extreme choice, we will verify the reason."

A was reportedly undergoing training to return to the sales field after last month's union election.
