Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Selected as an Excellent Institution for Procurement Services

Annual 87.4 Billion KRW, 210% Increase Compared to Previous Year

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 9th that it was selected as an 'Excellent Institution for Procurement Service Usage in 2022' and received a commendation from the Administrator of the Public Procurement Service.

The 'Excellent Institution for Procurement Service Usage' is selected annually among public institutions using the Public Procurement Service based on a comprehensive evaluation of procurement project usage performance and the utilization of the Korea ON-line E-Procurement System (KONEPS).

This year, the Provincial Office of Education recorded procurement project usage performance of 87.4 billion KRW, a 210% increase compared to 41.6 billion KRW last year.

Park Young-soo, Director of the Administration Bureau, stated, “The Provincial Office of Education will further expand the use of procurement services to promote transparent and honest contract operations and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.”
