Professor Yoon Jung-in of National Pukyong University Elected President of the Korean Society of Power Machinery Engineering

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Professor Yoon Jung-in of Pukyong National University has been elected as the 14th president of the Korean Society of Power Machinery Engineering.

Professor Yoon was recently elected as the next president at the regular general meeting of the 2022 Korean Society of Power Machinery Engineering Fall Conference held at Avani Central Hotel. The term of office is two years starting from January 2023.

Professor Yoon has contributed to the development of various academic societies by serving as the editor-in-chief and senior vice president of the Korean Society of Power Machinery Engineering and as vice president of the Korean Marine Engineering Society.

Founded in 1997, the Korean Society of Power Machinery Engineering is an academic organization in the fields of power machinery and mechanical systems such as ships and automobiles. The society has about 1,000 members and publishes the Journal of Power System Engineering, a journal registered with the Korea Research Foundation, six times a year.
