[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CU announced on the 9th that it will hold an ultra-low price promotion allowing customers to send CU-to-CU parcels for 1,000 won through its membership application (app) Pocket CU.

This discount promotion was planned to provide practical price benefits to parcel users and to participate in stabilizing prices. An 800 won discount coupon will be given to 30,000 customers who use CU-to-CU parcel service.

CU-to-CU parcel service has recorded a growth rate of more than 10 times in about two years amid the increase in contactless consumption such as online shopping and secondhand trading. Last year, the number of CU-to-CU parcel uses increased by 89.7% compared to the previous year.

A BGF Retail official said, “We prepared the ultra-low price discount promotion for CU-to-CU parcels on Pocket CU to enhance customers’ convenience of using the service and reduce the price burden. We will continue to introduce services and promotions with practical benefits as a life service platform closely connected to customers’ daily lives.”
