Recruitment from the 9th to the 16th... Placement of young workers at workplaces, wage support provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting companies and organizations to participate in the ‘2023 Local Talent Development Youth Job Project’ from the 9th to the 16th to alleviate youth unemployment.
The ‘Local Talent Development Youth Job Project’ is a program that plans and provides various services needed by the local community as youth jobs.
This year, the district is promoting the youth job project divided into ‘locally led’ and ‘Eunpyeong-type’ categories. It discovers and provides local jobs suitable for youth, places young workers at participating companies, and supports 90% of their wages.
Eligible participants are companies and organizations (facilities) located in Eunpyeong-gu that can provide jobs linked to local specialization, social economy, and community contribution.
In the ‘locally led’ category, four workplaces with five or more regular employees are recruited, and young workers will be placed from March for 10 months until the end of the year. In the ‘Eunpyeong-type’ category, six workplaces are recruited, and young workers will be placed from April for 9 months until the end of the year.
Applications can be submitted by visiting or emailing the Social Economy Division of the district office from the 9th to the 16th.
Participating companies will be selected through document screening, on-site inspection, and interviews, comprehensively considering the appropriateness, effectiveness, necessity of the project purpose, and the representative’s commitment. For further inquiries, refer to the announcement on the district website or contact the Social Economy Division.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We hope many companies will show interest and participate in this recruitment to nurture local youth talent,” adding, “We hope this will be an opportunity for our youth to grow into future talents suitable for the changing job demand environment.”
