Recruitment of Tenants for ‘Choegang Tower,’ Public Rental Youth Housing at Sillim Station, Gwanak-gu

Gwanak-gu Sillim Station Area Public Rental Youth Housing: 79 Units for Youth and Newlyweds to Move In June

Online Applications Accepted from January 11 to 13



[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) has begun recruiting tenants for the public rental youth housing "Choegang Tower (Sillim-dong 75-6)" near Sillim Station starting January 11.


The station area youth housing is rental housing supplied through cooperation between the private and public sectors near the station area. In Gwanak-gu, 79 units out of the total 534 units supplied by Seoul City will be provided.


The supply areas are available in four types: 17㎡, 18㎡, 39㎡, and 42㎡. The rental deposit ranges from 33.3 million KRW to 130 million KRW, and the monthly rent ranges from 147,000 KRW to 455,000 KRW, varying according to the supply area and eligibility requirements.


Eligibility requires applicants to be between 19 and 39 years old as of the tenant recruitment announcement date (December 21, 2022), to be without a home, and to not own (or use) a car. Applicants must also meet income and total asset requirements by category. Applications can be submitted through the SH Corporation subscription system from 10:00 AM on January 11 to 5:00 PM on January 13.


After document screening and evaluation, the final successful applicants will be announced on May 3, 2023, on the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation website, with move-in scheduled for June 2023 or later.

A Gwanak-gu official stated, “We will actively support and strive to help young people living in Gwanak reduce their housing cost burden and maintain stable housing.”
