As the main sales period for Lunar New Year gift sets has recently begun, premium Hanwoo beef sets are gaining great popularity at Lotte Department Store.

According to Lotte Department Store on the 8th, sales of Hanwoo sets from the 2nd to the 5th of this month increased by 20% compared to the previous year. Currently, various products are being sold, including items collaborated with famous domestic and international chefs, special sets based on the texture of different cuts, and Hanwoo sets reflecting lifestyle trends.

At the Jamsil branch, a premium Hanwoo gift pop-up store was opened in collaboration with the Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant. They are selling the ‘1966 Signature No.9’ Hanwoo gift set used in the signature burger menu of Gordon Ramsay Burger. All customers who purchase will receive a complimentary set of three Gordon Ramsay seasonings worth 50,000 KRW and be introduced to steak recipes.

They also introduced the ‘Hanwoo Aged Steak Gift’ through collaboration with a famous domestic chef. Working with Chef Yang Ji-hoon, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, they incorporated expertise and know-how. The chef recommended Hanwoo tenderloin, sirloin, and skirt steak cuts, which are aged at low temperature for over 10 days and trimmed to the optimal thickness for each cut to provide the best texture.
