[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 6th that it will operate a 'Winter Vacation Customized Program' for about 280 Dream Start case-managed children and their caregivers during the winter vacation.
This program was prepared to provide various experiential opportunities for Dream Start case-managed children who have difficulty experiencing educational content due to restrictions on outdoor activities and economic conditions caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting with family movie viewing on the 7th of this month, the program will include ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) Basic Academic Project ▲Family photo shoots for graduating children ▲Curiosity Heaven Science Playground ▲Kids Ballet Class ▲Baking experience activity making cookie houses, among others.
Dong-gu continues to promote the 'Dream Start Project,' which provides customized integrated services for vulnerable children in the district to help them grow and support as healthy and happy members of society.
Residents of low-income households with children under 12 years old in the district who wish to participate in the Dream Start Project can inquire at the Integrated Care and Case Management Department.
