[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] The Army's 11th Mechanized Division announced on the 6th that it will conduct "cold weather training" from the 9th to February 3rd in the areas of Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and Inje and Hongcheon counties in Gangwon Province.

The military authorities requested cooperation, stating, "As large-scale tracked equipment and heavy vehicles (such as HETs) will be moving, drivers passing through the area should exercise special caution for safe driving, including maintaining a safe distance from tracked equipment and refraining from overtaking."

The military also plans to operate a safety control team for the convenience of local residents, and any inconveniences experienced by residents during the training can be reported to the unit for appropriate measures.
