[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] The Korea Communications Commission announced that Standing Commissioner Kim Chang-ryong will attend CES 2023, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, starting on the 6th, to understand the latest broadcasting and telecommunications technologies and service trends.
This CES highlights key themes such as mobility, digital health, Web 3.0 and metaverse, sustainability, and human security. It showcases advanced IT technologies based on 5G and autonomous driving, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management strategies, and smart home products.
Additionally, Commissioner Kim will visit wavve Americas, On Demand Korea, and wiip in Los Angeles to grasp the trends in global online video service (OTT) content production and distribution. He also plans to discuss ways to strengthen global cooperation to promote Hallyu broadcasting content.
