[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 5th that it will recruit participants for the 'Forest Sector Financial Job' project from the 16th to the 18th.
This project, conducted to support job opportunities for vulnerable employment groups and financial independence, will select a total of 77 people across 8 fields including landslide site prevention teams, public forest maintenance, vine removal teams, specialized wildfire prevention and suppression teams, forest pest monitoring and control teams, and urban green space managers.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of the application date and have their registered residence in the Jeongeup area prior to the announcement date.
However, those who have repeatedly participated in financial support job projects for more than 2 years within the last 3 years may be restricted from participating.

Working hours are 8 hours per day, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a 5-day workweek as a principle, and will be flexibly operated depending on the characteristics of each task and period.
Those wishing to participate should apply to the City Hall Forest and Greenery Division.
The city plans to prioritize vulnerable groups such as employment protection targets when selecting participants.
A city official said, "Through this job project, we expect to provide job opportunities to vulnerable employment groups and enable prompt response in case of forest disasters such as wildfires and pine wilt disease."
