[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] KB Securities announced on the 5th that it will hold a customer panel meeting and financial education for consumers to mark the first 'Consumer Protection Day' of the first quarter of 2023.
KB Securities designates the first business day of each quarter as the company's 'Consumer Protection Day' and fosters employees' consumer protection mindset through various consumer protection-related content, education, and events during this period.
On Consumer Protection Day, customer panels who participated in surveys to listen to consumer opinions and identify improvement requests will be invited to hold the first face-to-face meeting with executives and related department heads in January. This will provide an opportunity for the panels to speak candidly about their experiences during their activities. In particular, there will be a Q&A session with the CEO and a time to convey suggestions, ensuring that the diverse opinions of the panels can be promptly reflected in the company’s operations.
Additionally, a video has been produced to guide consumers on important points to consider and protective measures when investing in bonds and hybrid capital securities, which have recently attracted much attention. The video can be viewed on KB Securities' YouTube channel, 'Kkaebi Securities Marble TV.' KB Securities plans to continue producing and distributing consumer protection-related videos by collecting various customer opinions in the future.
President Junglim Park stated, “We conducted a customer panel survey to directly listen to and actively reflect the voices of customers,” and added, “With the lifting of social distancing measures due to COVID-19, we will gather more on-site customer feedback through face-to-face meetings between executives and customer panels to improve consumer protection and customer satisfaction.”
