Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Receives Plaque of Appreciation and Donation from Seoul Parents of Disabled Persons Association Nowon Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 4th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, held a ceremony in the mayor’s office to receive a plaque of appreciation and a donation from the Seoul Parents of Disabled Persons Association Nowon Branch.
The Seoul Parents of Disabled Persons Association Nowon Branch took time to present a plaque of appreciation to Mayor Oh Seung-rok for his continuous efforts to improve the human rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.
Additionally, hoping to help neighbors in need, the members donated 1 million won collected from contributions to the ‘2023 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign.’
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Kim Mi-jin, head of the organization, and seven executives, proceeding with the donation and plaque presentation followed by a commemorative photo session.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District expressed his gratitude, saying, “Despite difficult circumstances, I appreciate your leading good causes every year and providing help to other neighbors in need.” He added, “The donation collected by the Seoul Parents of Disabled Persons Association Nowon Branch during these challenging times will be a great support to those in hardship.”
