Up to 30% Discount on Processed Maesil Products, Gijeongtteok, and Jaecheopguk
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced that it has launched online promotions and advertising to sell local agricultural specialty products ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
The city is collaborating with the ‘Post Office Shopping Mall,’ an online shopping mall operated by the Korea Post, to hold the ‘Gwangyang City Lunar New Year Special Exhibition’ until the 17th.
The Post Office Shopping Mall has opened the ‘Lunar New Year Gwangyang City Brand Hall,’ selling processed plum products, small clam soup, rice cakes, sprout ginseng, Gwangyang bread, and mixed grains at a 20% discounted price. Additionally, through special discount events such as Shopping 25 Hours, Super Weekly, and What to Eat on the Weekend, Gwangyang’s agricultural specialty products are being sold at up to 30% off.
Any agricultural specialty product sellers with a registered address in the region can apply to join the Gwangyang City Brand Hall. Once admitted, they can enjoy various benefits such as online linked promotions with partner shopping malls and discount coupons during various special events.
Park Yang-gyun, Director of Agricultural Product Marketing, said, “We believe many people are struggling due to high consumer prices,” and added, “We hope this special exhibition helps start a hopeful 2023 together with Gwangyang’s agricultural specialty products.”
